Make this traditional favorite with experienced guidance, fellow quilt makers and accurate templates. First class will be informative and get you set up for success. Please do not cut any fabric prior to class. Charm packs work really well for this quilt, you would need 7 charm packs for a quilt approximately 60x70 inches (recommended size). Other size options will be available. You can get your templates from the instructor or the Double Wedding Ring templates by Sharlene Jorgenson are available on Amazon.

Sew along with us, houses and trees for your very own pieced neighborhood! We'll have a demo of each of the four blocks and you'll be welcome to sit and sew as much as you'd like. Have 2 1/2" squares or strips ready to piece your houses and scraps 5" - 7" scraps for roofs and trees. Or you can work on cutting during the sewing time, it's your time! Pattern required.

Come join Gayle and learn about the tradition of Hawaiian quilts. Hawaiian quiltmaking is a great way to relax, be mindful, and to enjoy the process of hand sewing. In this class, students will choose a striking color combination for a beautiful pillow top, and discover the very relaxing and mindful process of making a traditional Hawaiian quilt. If you are new to hand sewing, you will learn the needle-turn method of applique. If you are an experienced needle-turner, I will have more intricate and larger patterns available for you to sew.

In this class students can work on projects of their own choosing with an emphasis on garment/fashion sewing. Each student will work at their own pace and have assistance from the instructor as needed. Beginners welcome with prior approval from the instructor.

The Mountain Mist club, an institution since 2011! Jeri Kennedy hosts this club the First Friday of every month. Members choose a pattern from Jeri's collection of 1930's Mountain Mist treasures, are guided through the nuances of the design and work at their own pace. Meetings include spontaneous discussions on the history of the patterns and a consortium of applique enthusiasts sharing their interest and knowledge! This ongoing commitment is not a drop in class and availability is limited. Please check with QE before registering.

Finish your forgotten and neglected projects (in this 12 step once-a-month-program) with the assistance of a very accomplished instructor and the company of friends. Last Friday of each month - 6:00 - 9:00 pm with Rene Williams Please be sure to register in advance for this class.
