Classes


In this class students can work on projects of their own choosing with an emphasis on garment/fashion sewing. Each student will work at their own pace and have assistance from the instructor as needed. Beginners welcome with prior approval from the instructor.

This free-standing Wooly Santa is about 12" high by about 6" wide. Stitched in wool he is embellished with buttons and embroidery. A fun class to do with friends and live instruction! He would jolly up any home for the holidays! Kit is available or you can gather and bring your own supplies.

Beginning in the 1930s Jeri's grandmother collected Mountain Mist applique patterns. Jeri has added to them and now has the complete collection to share. This club is a great way to hone applique skills and share in the history of quilting. Review all methods of applique and choose your favorite. Patterns will be provided. 1st and/or 3rd Friday of each month, 10am - 1pm

Finish your forgotten and neglected projects (in this 12 step once-a-month-program) with the assistance of a very accomplished instructor and the company of friends. Last Friday of each month - 6:00 - 9:00 pm with Rene Williams Please be sure to register in advance for this class.

STITCH Club Enjoy some relaxing hand stitching and guided instruction in our new STITCH Club. Project options: Begin a traditional embroidery project from Crabapple Hill such as "Stitch Heart Sampler" or "My Embroidered Garden", or Do some stitching on a French General embroidery panel or kit, or Enjoy playing with stitch combinations and perle cotton threads on a more contemporary project, such as "Red Bird" or "Flower Vase" . When you sign up for our first session, let us know what you plan to work on (or if you'd like to work on your own project), and whether you need us to make up a kit for you. 2 hours/session

Open Space for Basting and Piecing
Cost: No Charge

Our classroom, tables and piecing wall are available for basting and design when they are not in use for classes. Call the shop to check on availability.
