Would you like to donate a quilt or your quilt-making abilities?
Here are some organizations that would appreciate your help...

My Stuff Bags Foundation...
...is in desperate need of quilts and blankets (that fit in a medium sized duffle) for children 0-18 years.  Items must be new and can be purchased or handcrafted in any color and size from 40" square to 54" x 60".  You can send or take your donation to My Stuff Bags Foundation, 5347 Sterling Center Drive, Westlake Village, CA  91361 or contact Gail at 818-865-3860 or info@mystuffbags.org

Project Linus...
A National Non-Profit Volunteer Organization that provides new, handmade washable blankets to critically ill and/or traumatized children, ages 0-17yrs.  Sew, quilt, knit or crochet a blanket 36" square up to twin size in any pattern, color or style (must be 100% cotton if sewing and acrylic yarn -no wool- if knitting or crocheting).  They also accept knit caps for babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.  Call Suzann for more details 818-994-9675.  Quilt Emporium is a drop off location so you are welcome to leave your donations with us and we'll get them to the right people!

LA Veterans Quilt Project...
...is a non-profit organization that meets regularly to work on quilts to donate to veterans (who may be receiving care at the Veterans Hospital) to comfort and thank them. They also appreciate donations.  Contact Karen at 818 344-8470 or karenvdb@aol.com for more information.

Elisabeth and Nicole, authors of the FUSSY CUT SAMPLER were in the shop last summer to share their quilts and techniques.  Now there is a 2nd Quilt-A-Long you can join!

Check Elisabeth's Instagram feed @elisabew for more info on #thefussycutsamplerqal2.  It begins April 16, 2018 and will feature techniques and very cute blocks from the book!  There are so many very fun things that can be done with the fabric you've been collecting, so go get some inspiration and share a few minutes with quilty friends!
