My Stuff Bags Foundation...
...is in desperate need of quilts and blankets (that fit in a medium sized duffle) for children 0-18 years.  Items must be new and can be purchased or handcrafted in any color and size from 40" square to 54" x 60".  You can send or take your donation to My Stuff Bags Foundation, 5347 Sterling Center Drive, Westlake Village, CA  91361 or contact Gail at 818-865-3860 or info@mystuffbags.org

Project Linus...
A National Non-Profit Volunteer Organization that provides new, handmade washable blankets to critically ill and/or traumatized children, ages 0-17yrs.  Sew, quilt, knit or crochet a blanket 36" square up to twin size in any pattern, color or style (must be 100% cotton if sewing and acrylic yarn -no wool- if knitting or crocheting).  They also accept knit caps for babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.  Call Suzann for more details 818-994-9675.  Quilt Emporium is a drop off location so you are welcome to leave your donations with us and we'll get them to the right people!

LA Veterans Quilt Project...
...is a non-profit organization that meets regularly to work on quilts to donate to veterans (who may be receiving care at the Veterans Hospital) to comfort and thank them. They also appreciate donations.  All quilters are welcome to join the first Tuesday of every month, 8am-1pm at the VA North Hills Campus Bldg 22 in the rec room, 16111 Plummer St. Check with www.sfvqa.org or www.valleyquiltmakersguild.org

Sew For Kids...
...needs warm blankets for children, babies, elders and other family members on the SD Indian Reservations. Baby/toddler size, lap size for elders and twin/double/queen size for families.  Contact Carol Binnington at 310-626-2601 for more information.
